Activities During Your Stay
We’re so excited to share our special day with you! Since everyone will be staying in Paris, we wanted to recommend some of our favorite spots in the city. These are the places we’ve loved exploring together, and we can’t wait for you to experience them too.
The Eiffel Tower
No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower. We did, in fact, climb the stairs to get up there, but there is an elevator, so don’t let those steps stop you. Take in the views from the top, and come back at midnight to see the tower light up. Bonus points if you go with your partner (so romantic!).
Visit the Louvre Museum
Guysss, we didn’t go here last time because the workers were striking! But we will definitely be there next summer and you should be too. This museum is home to masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, you shouldn’t miss it!
Go See the Arc de Triomphe
It’s a monument and it’s right in the middle of a gigantic roundabout so get on a scooter and go look at it. One of the best parts of Paris is the architecture and the Arc de Triomphe is a must-see. (did you even go to France if you didn’t climb up the steps of every Parisian monument? Also, yes, you can go to the top of the Arc too!)
Evening Seine River Cruise
We took this cruise on our first trips to Paris, and it’s still one of our best memories. Seeing the city lights reflecting off the water is magical, and it’s a beautiful way to end the day. We highly recommend it if you have the chance.
Discover Hidden Gems in Saint-Germain-des-Prés
This neighborhood is super cute. From historic cafés like Café de Flore to charming bookstores and boutiques, Saint-Germain-des-Prés offers a great opportunity take a stroll and explore at your own pace.
Take a Day Trip to Versailles
We definitely recommend you tour the Palace of Versailles while you’re in France. The palace is huge and the line to get in was (kinda) long when we went, but it was SO worth it. After, take a stroll around Versailles, it’s super cute and there a lot of great places to grab a bite.
Check out Musée D’Orsay
What can I say, there are so many masterpieces in this museum, you’d really be missing out if you skipped this. Also, they have a great gift shop if you’re a Museum shopaholic like one of us (wink wink).
Find a Sassy Cidre
I swear on my mom’s dog’s life, this is the best cider we’ve ever had. They’re so good, Andrews had a crate shipped to us in Portugal and we drank all the Rosé flavor in the living room while we finished Naruto. So, find this drink somewhere! But if you can’t, no worries, we’ll have some!
If you want to see all the important stuff in a day or two, here is Andrews’s route-optimized list!
